ABOUT

Hi, I’m Alexander — a British/Greek film composer, sound artist, and music producer based in Bristol, UK.

I believe that when sound and image meet with intention, they have the power to move people — and even inspire change. My work spans film, TV, documentary, trailers, and commercials, blending melody, texture, and a strong focus on emotional impact.

I studied a BA in Music Production & Sound Engineering at dBs Institute, followed by an MA in Composition for Film & TV at the University of Bristol, where I studied under Emmy-nominated composer William Goodchild. I later had the chance to be mentored by renowned score mixer Geoff Foster, which deepened my thought process and approach to cinematic sound.

Some of my work includes music featured on the BBC, National Geographic, Amazon Prime, and Netflix — including a string arrangement of Beyoncé’s Deja Vu used in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

Noteworthy collaborations include working with composer Neil Davidge as an arranger and additional scene writer on projects like All or Nothing: Tottenham HotspurBritannia Season 3, Earth’s Great Rivers and Earth Moods.

My most recent work has focused on documentaries that engage with urgent global issues. Two recent projects — When The Floods Come, a BAFTA Student Award-winning film, and Death At Sea, a Royal Television Society winner and Jackson Wild finalist — explore the devastating impact of global warming and human rights at sea. For both, the score acted as a medium for emotional storytelling and advocacy, earning nominations for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, the International Sound & Film Music Festival, and RTS West of England.

Alongside screen work, I have produced and mixed for artists and bands in the studio — helping bring musical ideas to life in a way that’s sonically rich and emotionally grounded. Whether it’s a film, a series, or a record, I’m drawn to projects that tell stories and resonate on a deeper level.
